My little girl took her first steps

Yesterday, Alexandra took her first steps.

For a few days now, she been standing unassisted. Just standing a few inches from anything -- playing with a toy or clapping her hands and smiling. But any time she'd think of moving her feet, she'd just fall to her bum and crawl instead.

But yesterday evening, she was standing with Ryan and took two steps towards me. Then stopped as she started to lose her balance; caught herself again and took two more steps into my arms!

We were all so excited, even she was clapping.

And then she did it again. And again.
